On Wednesday, February 9, Academy hosted Springboro in the first round of the CBJ Cup, the postseason tournament for the Capital Hockey Conference. With goals from Max Walker (2, both assisted by AJ Bradley) and Bradley (assisted by Walker), the 15-seed Vikes triumphed over the 16-seed Panthers 3-2. 

Then, on Friday, February 11, Dublin Coffman hosted Academy at the Ice Works, knocking the Vikes out of the tournament with a 10-0 loss. 

Next up: the state tournament. 19-seed Academy will host 21-seed Troy on Saturday, February 19, and the winner of that game will move on to play 2-seed Upper Arlington in the next round.
