Bowling Teams Place 4th and 5th at MSLs

On Thursday, February 10th, at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl, both the Columbus Academy girls and boys varsity bowling teams competed in the Mid-State League tournament. The boys placed 4th out of 6 teams, scoring a combined total of 2633 points after 3 games, while the girls placed 5th out of 6 with a total of 1918.

On the boys’ side, Jacob M. led the team, achieving 1st team MSL with an aggregate score of 582 after his 3 games. He was followed by Ryan R. who was an honorable mention with 491 points. Zecheriah K., Craig E., and Kian J. had 391, 375, and 291 points, respectively. On the girl’s side, Tara H. achieved an honorable mention with a 361. She was followed by Adeline B., Sarah A., Victoria R., and Nicole Y., each with total scores of 340, 330, 298, and 271, respectively.

The boys varsity will play in the in sectionals on Friday, February 18, at the HP Lanes. The girls will play in sectionals on at the same venue on Saturday, February 19.
