On Saturday, February 12, the boys swim team hosted sectionals, competing against 22 other teams along with 3 other sectional meets to secure 1 of 30 spots for districts. 

The 200 medley relay secured gold. Later, the 200 and 400 free relays nabbed silver behind Granville.

In the 200 free, Luke B. and Cy R. finished 4th and 5th. 

William H., Andy L., and Mircea B. placed 3rd, 5th, and 7th in the 200 IM as did Gavin L., Drake B., and Greyson T. in the 50 free.

In the 100 fly, Alek B. raced to 4th as Gavin L., Cy R., and Drake B. took 5th through 7th in the 100 free.

In the 500 free, Luke B. and Jono H. got 3rd and 6th while in the 100 back, Andy L. received 6th.

William H., Mircea B., and Cyrus H. picked up 2nd, 5th, and 7th in the 100 breast.

Those who qualified will compete at districts on Thursday, February 17, at OSU’s McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
