On Tuesday, January 25, the AquaVikes hosted DeSales for Senior Night and obtained an 111 to 59 victory, with a gold and a bronze in the 200 medley relay–followed by a 1st place finish by William H. in the 200 free. Luke B. and Mircea B. netted 2nd and 3rd in the 200 IM. 

Cy R. and Max P. secured a 1-2 finish in the 50 free as did Gavin L. and Drake B. in the 100 fly. Cy R. and Greyson T. also seized 1st and 2nd in the 100 free along with Mircea B. and Cyrus H. in the 100 breast. In the 500 free, Luke B. and Dorian B. took 1st and 3rd while in the 100 back, and William H. nabbed 2nd. In the 200 and 400 free relays, the AquaVikes picked up gold and silver.

After the 50 free, seniors Drake B., Cyrus H., Max P., Cy R., and Raaghuv V. walked to the pool deck and received flowers and later received personalized water bottles and laundry hampers .

On Friday, January 28, the squad hosted Bexley, Buckeye Valley, Grandview Heights, Wellington, and Worthington Christian for the MSL Championships. Academy reigned victorious with 383.5 points, over 150 points ahead of Wellington who received 2nd. The Vikes triumphed in the 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relays.

In the 200 free, Luke B., Cy R., and Jono H. took 5th -7th, while William H., Mircea B., and Raaghuv V. achieved 2nd, 4th, and 6th in the 200 IM. The Vikes racked up points in the 50 free with 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th place finishes by Gavin L, Drake B., Max P., and Greyson T. , Cy R., Andy L., and Alek B. swept the podium in the 100 fly while Gavin L. and Luke B. picked up 2nd in the 100 and 500 free. In the 100 back, Andy L. secured silver and William H., Mircea B., and Cyrus H. obtained 3rd-5th in the 100 breast.

On Saturday, February 5, several swimmers will head to CSG for JV Champs while others will wait until Saturday, February 12 for sectionals at home.
