On Saturday, January 15, 2022, the wrestling team hosted the Kevin Michael Memorial Classic in the Jones Gym, with eight teams participating in the tournament.

Levi M., Parker K., Tiko B, and Gyvnn M. were all runners-up in their individual brackets, along with a win by Phil N. 

Ceci R. set a school record as the first female wrestler to win a tournament title in the program’s history and was undefeated in her weight class. Congrats to Ceci on her record-breaking title that changes the mainstream outlook on girls in wrestling at Academy.
