Girls basketball Begins Season 2-2

The girls basketball team traveled for its first game against Cardington Lincoln on November 23, suffering a 33-66 loss. The team rebounded against Whitehall on November 27 with an emphatic 55-31 victory at Whitehall. 

The squad faced off against Bexley and CSGon on December 3. Against CSG, the Vikings won 39-20. Leading scorers were guard Sophie Spolter with 12 points, forward Claire Cahall with 11 points, and guard Emily Rimer with 9 points.

On Friday, December 3, the squad faced off against Bexley, and even though they played a strong second half, the team fell 51-67. Leading scorers were Sophie Spolter with 24 points, Emily Rimer with 9 points, and Claudia Warstler and Claire Cahall each adding 6 points. 

The squad will look to build upon their 2-2 record this week with games against Grandview on the road on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, December 11 with a game against Buckeye Valley at 2:00 p.m. in the Mack.
