Prom’s “Starry Night” Dazzles

With the fate of having a prom uncertain this year, once Ms. Izokaitis approved the dance, students were thrilled to attend the 2021 “Starry Night” and socially reconnect with classmates.

The prom committeee took critical precautions in its planning: the event had to be on campus, masks were required at all times, and optional covid testing was available for juniors and seniors, who danced in the quad and had the arts building to visit while our ninth and tenth graders met in the Jones Gym.

This year’s prom was been in the works for months, thanks to its committee and faculty advisors, Mrs. Gorsuch, Ms. Stout, and Ms. Eden, along with David Fachman (father of Cameron’16), who arranged the lights.

With student-made murals, mini-golf, badminton, corn hole, and ring toss, “Starry Night” gave students a chance to say goodbye to the seniors and close out the school year together.
