Project Harmony Wants You! (Courtesy/Project Harmony Facebook page)
Do you want to be part of something bigger than oneself? Do you want to give back to the Columbus community? Are you willing to donate an hour for at least 10 weeks to flex your vocal chords and serve? If you answered “yes” to these questions, consider joining other US students as part of the inaugural Harmony Project at Columbus Academy.
According to its Facebook page, Harmony Project connects people from different social, cultural, and geographic divides through music and community service. Its mission is to sing an artistic collaboration together, serve neglected neighborhoods, and share community issues.
Middle School Service Department Coordinator, Ms. Platt, whose family and friends are associated with this venture believes the project will be a good fit with the “exceptionally creative, multi-dimensional students” of Columbus Academy. No prior musical experience or vocal talent is required to join.
