One Win, Two Losses for Girls Lacrosse

On Tuesday, April 13, the girls lacrosse team fell to Granville 9-12 but came back on Thursday, April 15 at Bishop Hartley with a first win of the season, beating the Hawks by 4 points.

Avery Mitchell’22 secured the first goal of the game, but the Hawks nailed the next couple shots for a 3-2 lead. Hartley proved to be no match for Charlotte Adams’21 and Evie Gee’22, who sank the next 4 goals in under 4 minutes. Mitchell dominated with 2 back-to-back goals. Adams rounded out the first half with another point with only 26 seconds left in the half to secure a lead 9-5. In the second half, the Vikes sank another 5 shots, including a goal from both Adams and Gee to secure their 14-10 victory.

On Saturday, April 17, our girls lost to Dublin Jerome. 8-19.

The girls will face Wellington on Tuesday, April 20 before hosting Buckeye Valley on April 22 and Indian Hill on Saturday, April 24.
