K-pop boy group ATEEZ  has just dropped its latest Korean EP, “FEVER Pt. 2,” a complement to “FEVER Pt. 1.” Known for its intense stage presence and powerful, hero-esque concepts, the group does not disappoint.

“FEVER Pt. 2,” the group’s sixth extended play, was released on March 1, 2021, with teasers and concept photos lining social media as early as February.

The song “Celebrate” was pre-released in November 2020 as a gift to the group’s fans, affectionately coined “Atiny.” The track was only available for twenty-four hours before making it’s formal debut on this latest EP.  The album has also had major commercial success, peaking at 1st on the South Korean Gaon Music Chart, its main track, along with “Fireworks (I’m the One)” garnering upwards of 10 million streams on Spotify, and now with 25 million views on YouTube, becoming the band’s first song to rank on the Gaon Digital Chart.

Due to member Song Mingi’s (민기) health concerns, he could not participate in album promotions but contributed his vocals and verses.

The album is a journey in it of itself, from its intense, catchy title track “Fireworks (I’m the One)” to the ethereal-like harmonies of  “Take Me Home,” (also available in English) to the feel-good “Time of Love”’s smooth, almost coming-of-age movie feel.

No ATEEZ release is complete without a one-part celebratory, two-parts heartwarming track dedicated to its fans, this time conveniently titled “Celebrate.”  For a more hip-hop feel, one might turn to “The Leaders,” a track exclusively featuring the rappers of the group, or “I’m The One- HEAT-TOPPING Version,” a remix of the well-loved main track.

“FEVER Part 2” is twenty-four minutes, “Fireworks (I’m The One),” runs at three minutes, thirty seconds, the music video is three minutes and fifty-five seconds long.
