Coming off a 10-16 loss from the Saturday, April 3 game against Division 1’s Medina, our girls lacrosse team looked for redemption against Bexley on Thursday, April 8.
Academy led at halftime 11-8, but the Lions triumphed in the second half, scoring six goals to Academy’s two. Coming into the final moments of the game, the teams were tied, but a winning goal at the buzzer secured a Lion’s victory 13-14.
On Saturday, April 10 at Chagrin Falls, the Vikes once again looked for a win. The teams were evenly matched, and after two sudden-death overtimes, the game was declared a tie at 15-15.
Our girls play at Granville on Tuesday, April 13, at Bishop Hartley on Thursday, April 15, and against Dublin Jerome on April 17.
