Teddy Daniels (Leonardo Di Caprio) and his partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), the story takes place in 1954 .
Daniels and Aule are investigating a case involving a missing patient from Shutter Island’s mental hospital. As they spend time on the island, the detectives uncover dark truths about the the mental institution and in a twist of fate they begin to question their own sanity.
This film has one of the best plots hocks in cinematic history. The ending leaves you speechless, and Di Caprio’s intensity captures the movie’s eeriness.
