Food Truck Fridays: Open to All

Keeping their distances, students wait for a slice on Friday, January 29. (Ella Morris’22/Media)

One CA tradition this year’s seniors lost due to COVID was Senior Lunch, a privilege they had patiently been waiting for since frehmen year. After precautions were put into place as the Dining Hall staff switched to preparing box lunches, senior class president, Luke Nester, said he wanted seniors ”to have another lunch option.”

Thanks to the PACA parents of our seniors and to Ms. Izokaitis, Academy’s first take-out to park at the drop-off circe was Pitabilities.

Given Foodtruck Friday’s popularity, the senior class graciously opened this lunch oppportuntity to all US students and to faculty and staff. As a result, record breaking traffic waited patiently for something from Mikey’s Late Night Slice on Friday, January 29.

Whenever you’re not in the mood to eat a boxed lunch on Fridays, consider partaking in Foodtruck Friday and supporting our local businesses impacted by the pandemic
