Boys Swim Team Secures First Victory

Our boys swim team nabbed its first victory of the season beating Bexley 95-71 at home On Friday, January 8. 

Sophomores Luke Boltz and Gavin Lewis along with juniors Cyrus Hannallah and Drake Bellisari led the boys to an early lead, winning the 200 medley relay by over 2 seconds.

The Vikes continued strong in the relays, dominating the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, beating the Lions by over 7 seconds in both. Boltz triumphed throughout the meet, securing victories in the 200 and 500 freestyle, which he won by over 38 seconds. Lewis dominated, too, winning the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Hannallah was also a key contributor, finishing second in the 100 freestyle and 100 breastroke. 

Academy faces off next against Gahanna on Friday, January 15 at home.
