While many Vikings are blessed with a surplus of food and personal items, too many Columbus families who aren’t as fortunate. Principal Alissa Lopez spoke about this sad reality on Friday, November 6t at our Sleep Out. She said Gahanna’s Royal Elementary School teachers have been using their personal funds to purchase food for their students since March.

From the 6th graders who transported the food to the Athletic Lobby to the Sleep Out volunteers who sorted the donations, thank you to every Viking who served in any capacity with Food Drive 2.0. Special thanks to CA adults Christy Bening, Jen Conti, Katie Frickel, Michelle Platt, Katie Rentel, Peggy and Jeff Sutton and CA parent Kimberly Allison.

This week’s Tidy Up Tuesday is moved to this Wednesday because students will be working from home on November 9. Sign up outside of the SHACK next door to Dr. Losambe’s office or see Arnav Seri ‘23. Consider following Ms Bening’s lead and “continue to serve.”
