Field Hockey Advances with Dominant Win

On Tuesday, October 20, our girls played their first game in the postseason following a strong regular season showing that gave the team the one-seed in its division.

This game was on Carlin Field against Dublin Coffman, the 18-seed. Even though the squad was expected to steamroll the weak Coffman side, Academy showed no mercy and ended up with a dominant 10 goal win.

This win sends them to the next round in the divisional bracket in a match against eight-seed Olentangy Orange at home on Tuesday, October 27. Should the team win, it would face the winner of four-seed  New Albany and five-seed Upper Arlington.
