Service Board Extends Opportunites to Help Others

(Courtesy/Christy Bening)

Food Drive 2.0 begins this Wednesday, October 21st. Thanks to Lauren Motta ‘21, Tsega Seleshi ‘21, and Hannah Clay ‘21 who organized the Food Drive box making event after the PSAT, there are more than 100 boxes around campus to place donations. Over 30 families will be fed if every CA community member contributes at least two non-perishable food items. See flyer for food suggestions.

This Wednesday is also the first Service Board meeting of the school year for returning members. This Friday will be the first Service Board meeting for new members. Both meetings will occur in the theater, with overflow directed to the balcony.

This Thursday from noon until 1pm flyers promoting Academy’s Annual Trick or Treating for non-perishable food event will be distributed. If you want to have fun collecting food for others on Thursday October 29th from 5-8pm, sign up outside the Service Office, next to Dr. Losambe’s office. Contact Sophia Sommer’21 or Spandana Amirneni’22 with any questions.

Let’s continue to support our community!
