On Friday, October 6, our boys cross country team placed 6th out of 11 teams at the Hilliard Darby Dash, the last meet before the postseason. Our boys racked up 146 points on the flat 2-mile course.

Senior Luke Nester flew through the course, with a split of 4:50 at the first mile. He ended up clocking in at 10:00.1 and earning 2nd out of 101 runners. Senior Jake Huddleston also impressed with another sub-11 minute finish, racing a 10:40.4 and earning 7th place after a 5:13.1 first mile. Not far behind, seniors Cooper Schnitzer and Calvin Wade, along with junior Peter Heermann, raced to an 11:22.1, 11:25.6, and an 11:26.7, securing 46th, 48th, and 49th place, beating over half the field.

Our boys will look to make a statement at Buckeye Valley for the MSL Championships on Saturday, October 17.
