Girls XC Prepares for Postseason at Darby Dash

On Tuesday, October 6, our girls cross country team ran in crisp fall weather at Hilliard Darby’s 2-mile Dash.

Frickel took the lead for the Vikes with a 41st place finish, running a 13:44. Hinds and Julia DeVore’22 blew past the finish line shortly after, clocking in at 14:25 and 15:14, and securing 59th and 73rd. Runner’s Cat Gerst’23, Maya Corridore’23, Zara Syed’22, and Maria Masek’24 also had stellar personal performances and raced to 77th, 79th, 84th, 90th.

With an average time of 15:01 and a spread of only 2:15, CA earned 10th place. Our girls next race at the MSL Ohio Cross Country Championship on Saturday, October 17, at Buckeye Valley, the first race of the postseason.
