Girls Golf Advances to First District Tournament

On Monday, September 28, the Columbus Academy girls golf team kicked off its postseason play in sectionals at the Blacklick Woods Golf Course. 

With a total score of 366, the Vikings placed 2nd out of 13 schools. Grace Luo’23 led the team with an 88, tying for 5th out of 52 other competitors. Eliza Freytag’23 followed close behind with a score of 90 and a 7th place finish. Eva Baker’23 rounded out the top nine with 91 points, as Angela Hu’24 and Morgan Crain’23 brought it home with a respective 97 and 105.

The Vikings will advance to districts at Darby Creek on Monday, October 5.
