Boys X-C Secures 9th Place

On Saturday, October 3, our boys cross country took home 9th out of 15 teams at the Berlin Bear Dash.

On the flat course in the sub-50 degree weather, seniors Luke Nester and Jake Huddleston finished first and second for the Vikes at 15:50.6 and 16:50.4, securing 4th and 32nd overall. Nester’s time was also the 2nd fastest in school history, while Huddleston’s was the 7th. Meanwhile, senior Cooper Schnitzer and junior Peter Heerman also impressed, crossing the finish line next at 17:52.0 and 17:52.1 for 69th and 70th place. Senior Calvin Wade and Junior Cy Richardson rounded out the varsity team with their 76th and 78th place finishes, clocking in at 18:06.9 and 18:10.6.

The Vikes race on Tuesday, October 6, at the 2-mile Darby Dash.
