Boys Cross Country Nabs Sixth-Place

On Saturday, September 26, the boys cross country team took sixth out of 12 teams in a Divison I meet at the 25th Annual Tiger Cross Country Invitational at Pickerington Central. 

In the boys’ biggest meet of the season so far, Luke Nester’21 sprinted to second place out of 127 runners with a time of 15:58.1.

Jake Huddleston’21 finished second for the Vikes and 28th overall at an 18:05.0. Juniors Peter Heerman and Cy Richardson clocked a 18:43.4 and an 18:47.4 and secured themselves a 48th and 51st place.

With the help of senior Cooper Schnitzer, who placed 63rd with a time of 19:05.9, our boys scored 171 points, one point ahead of powerhouse Teays Valley.

The Vikes run at Olentangy Berlin for the Bear Den Das on October 3.
