The girls volleyball season started out on a rough note, especially without last year’s stellar seniors.

Despite their 0-5 record, our girls flipped the switch when it mattered most: Senior night. On Tuesday, September 15, our girls triumphed over Whitehall with a 3-0 win. Led by seniors Olivia Pierre-Louis, Cyndey Platt, and Ellie Vasilkov, this victory was never in doubt, controlling it throughout the game.

On Wednesday, September 16, the Vikings fell 3-0 to Buckeye Valley.

The Volleyball Vikes will have plenty of opportunities to return to their winning ways next week, with a four-game schedule. CA will host Centerburg High School on Monday, September 21, followed by another home game against Worthington Christian on Tuesday, September 22. On Thursday, September 24, the girls will travel to Grandview Heights, before wrapping up the week back home on Saturday, September 26 against Tree of Life Christian.
