This year, many Americans were disappointed to see March Madness, one of the biggest annual sporting events in the country, cancelled by the Coronavirus pandemic. Closer to home, our Columbus Academy community has been disappointed that Governor DeWine has – rightfully – shut down schools until May 1, subsequently leading to the cancellation of April Absurdity.

A question most all of us are facing during quarantine is what should we do with all of our free time at home? The search an answer led me to something to scratch my itch for a tournament: April Absadity, a 16-activity tournament, pitting some of the top ranked activities in the country against one another to decide how to best spend our time.

The activities have been split into four divisions: productivity, academic, leisure, and athletic. This week, the committee will be deciding whose seasons will continue into the tournament.

And you all are the committee!

To choose the top four in each region who will compete in the tournament next week, fill out this quick Google Form.
