Two Indiana teenagers search for “bright places” in their state for a school project. But their hunt turns into something neither had expected as Finch and Violet (Justice Smith and Elle Fanning ) bond over their dark pasts. 

Spoliler alert: Something to consider is that this movie focuses on mental illness and the loss of a sibling which, at times, brings the storyline to grim places. 

Based on Jennifer Niven’s 2015 book, All the Bright Places came on Netflix on February 28, 2020. Its  run-time is 1 hour and 48 minutes.
