On Sunday, November 24, Academy traveled to Cincinnati to face off against Archbishop Moeller. The Crusaders are top-ranked in the division-ahead of the Vikes. Academy fought hard, but could not compete with the powerhouse, losing 6-0.

After a week-long break, the Vikes retook the ice on Friday, December 6, against the DeSales Stallions at Chiller Easton. Academy was hot, with goals from Jake Carlin’22 (4), Campbell Gwin’21 (1), Connor Harris’22 (1), Max Walker’22 (2), and Andrew Zaki’22 (1). The offensive onslaught proved too much for the Stallions, who managed to net just two goals, handing CA a 9-2 win. 

The victory against DeSales will set the tone for the rematch on Sunday, December 8, at home for the Vikes. Next week, the Vikes will take on Springboro at home on Saturday, December 14.
