On November 9 and 10, the ceramics department continued to produce as many bowls as possible for the MT Bowls event in December. Although there were over 100 bowls produced at the PSAT Bowl-A-Thon, the second annual Bowl-A-Thon produced 250 pieces. 

Members of the ceramics community from around Columbus were also invited to share their expertise with CA’s portfolio students. With 15 master ceramicists helping out, this Bowl-A-Thon was especially successful. Some of the artists brought their home-made tools.

This is Academy’s second year of partipiating in 2 Bowl-A-Thons.

Last year, Academy crafted over 500 bowls for the Empty Bowls event. This year, the portfolio group hopes to make over 800!
