Morris Hall Gallery Presents 4th Annual Student Show

The 4th annual Student Show will be on display until December 13. (Carolyn Zhang’20)

On October 23, the Morris Hall Gallery displayed our 4th annual Student Show.

For this year’s exhibition, Academy’s Fine Arts Department did not choose a specific theme for the artwork to adhere to, giving students the opportunity to explore and pursue ideas without constraints.

The exhibit spotlights selected works of varying mediums, from acrylic painting to photography, with representation from all three divisions of the school.

At the center of the hall is a large collection of bowls that students in ceramics made for the Empty Bowls fundraiser, hosted by Otterbein University next month. Proceeds from this event will be conrtributed to Westerville’s  Habitat for Humanity that builds affordable housing for people in need.

With our busy schedules, it is important to unwind and relax. Consider taking the time to visit the showcase before it concludes on December 13.

The next Morris Hall Gallery exhibition will feature artwork by Columbus Academy’s faculty and staff.
