On Friday, October 11, the Columbus Academy football team took down Buckeye Valley, 49-6.

The Vikes were never  threatened by the now 0-7 Barons and cruised to a 42-6 lead at the half. They were led by junior quarterback Brady Hess, who tossed 3 touchdown passes and senior H-back/returner Carter Warstler, who continued his spectacular season by recording 2 scores.

In the second half, Durrell Moultrie’21 added a final touchdown while the defense blanked the Barons, making the final score 49-6.

This victory pushes the CA record to 4-3, and the team looks to make that 5-3 when they make the long trip to face the 0-7 Liberty Union Lions on Friday, October 18.
