Our girls lacrosse team ended its regular season by hosting Centennial on Thursday, May 16.

The Vikings used this opportunity to prepare for postseason and refine offensive strategies. The ball moved like clockwork as the Vikes silenced Centennial 21-0.

In the first game of the postseason, Academy hosted CSG to kick off the OHSAA District tournament.

Senior Lexi Leader set the tone early, scoring three goals and leading the Vikings to a 16-6 victory over the Unicorns. Junior Lauren Bernacki matched Leader’s three goals, while Sydney Hill’19, Emma Belford’20, and Katie Schiano’21 added two a piece.

CA will plays in district semifinals at home on Tuesday, May 21. If the Vikeswin, they will continue to district finals on Friday, May 24.
