On Tuesday, April 30, our girls lacrosse team hosted Thomas Worthington on Hondros Field. The team came out firing in this matchup, getting off 11 shots on goal in the first half and scoring 6 to take a 6-4 lead heading into the break.

The girls began the second half even stronger than the first, scoring quickly and never looking back, taking down Worthington 15-8.

Two days later on Thursday, May 2, the team traveled to CSG to take down the Unicorns.

The Vikes got off to a quick start, capitalizing off of forced turnovers and taking an early lead. CA rode this momentum for the rest of the half and held a comfortable 10-2 lead at halftime.

CSG scored early at the beginning of the second half, but the Vikings silenced any hopes of a comeback, winning 16-8.

In the coming week, the team will close out its regular season with two games, first taking on Worthington Kilbourne on Tuesday, May 7, before going to Bishop Watterson on Thursday, May 9.
