The Columbus Academy boys tennis team had a huge week, picking up three major victories against top-ranked teams.

The Vikes kept rolling on Tuesday, April 23, taking down the first- ranked and top rival, Wellington Jaguars 3-2. This time, the doubles’ teams took over for the Vikes, as the duos of Rhian Seneviratne’20 and Jack Madison’21 and Drew Haffer’19 and Ryan Wahl’20 combined to drop only one game between them.

Academy closed out the week on Saturday, April 27, by taking down St. John’s Jesuit of Toledo 4-1, dominating the doubles matches once again.

The Vikings continue to position themselves as front-runners for the state championship and will look to build on their success on Monday, April 29 at Dublin Coffman.
