Boys Baseball Suffers Double-Header Losses

Our boys baseball team had a tough week, as they took on their rivals the Bexley Lions in a two game series.

The Vikes had the home field advantage in the first game but suffered a crushing 1-10 defeat as they failed to round the bases on Monday, April 22.

On Wednesday, April 24, the Vikings and Lions faced off once more-this time at Bexley. After battling back and forth, our boys finally conceded a 3-4 defeat.

Looking for a rebound from these disappointing results, CA headed to Bishop Watterson on Saturday, April 27, after their game against Berne Union on Friday the 26th was cancelled.

Both teams fought hard in the back and forth game, but our boys ended up pulling out an 8-7 victory against the Eagles, ending the week on a high note.

The Vikes have a packed schedule this upcoming week, going up against Grandview Heights at home on Monday, April 29, and facing them again away on Wednesday, May 1. Our boys will also face off against Licking Valley away on Friday, May 3, and will finish off the week at Bishop Hartley on Saturday, May 4.
