Bibibop: Fast Casual South Korean Cuisine

Bibibop’s classic rice bowl with spicy chicken, eggs, and fresh vegetables. (Sarah Silver’21/Staff)

Bibibop is a fast-casual restaurant that follows the custom of personalizing meals with fresh, healthy ingredients. With locations in Polaris, Easton, and most recently Gahanna, Bibibop boasts reasonably priced rice bowls inspired by the South Korean dish “bibimbap” or mixed rice.

This Asian Fusian restaurant features rice, greens, and noodle bowls that are customizable with a combination of hot and cold ingredients, proteins, and sauces. My favorite is the traditional white rice bowl with chicken ($7.49), bean sprouts, potatoes, kale, lettuce, cheese, and the sweet house favorite “yum-yum” sauce. Bibibop also offers sides of pineapple ($1.00) and miso soup, a free option for all customers.

In addition, the Gahanna and Dublin Green locations exclusively offer Bibitea (small: $4.00, regular: $4.75). The fan favorite Bibiblue tea contains real mango puree and lemonade with additional options of tapioca bubbles, strawberry popping bubbles, and mango popping bubbles.

In just the Columbus area, Bibibop boasts eleven locations, as well as the option to order through DoorDash.
