Both Academy bowling squads placed last at the MSL tournament on Saturday, February 2. However, Multiple Vikes were honored at the match at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.
Vincent White, Jr.’21 earned second team honors. White has been the pleasant surprise of the season, as he has shown an affinity for the sport in his first season of bowling.
Michael Hoffman’20 and Ryan Reagan’22 both earned honorable mentions. Hoffman has been incredibly consistent this season and has served as a respected captain. Reagan is part of the program’s bright future, as the freshman showed flashes of his immense potential all year.
On the girls’ side, two Striking Vikings took home second team honors: Evelyn Olexio’21 and Gianna “Gigi” Bates’20. Both will return next season.
While both squads were disappointed with their results on Saturday, their prospects for the future are looking better and better. Our bowlers will close out the season with games on three straight days from February 4-6.
