A display of cookbooks and deli classics welcomes you into Cameron Mitchell’s newest eatery, Harvey & Ed’s deli, in the Short North.
With both counter and sit-down service, Harvey & Ed’s features traditional Jewish delicacies, including potato latkes ($5), noodle kugel ($5), and Bubbe’s matzo ball soup ($4 cup/$7 bowl) with chicken, vegetables and a house-made matzo ball.
The restaurant prides itself on its original, contemporary noshes, including knishes ($6) and a hot Rueben dip ($10) with bagel chips, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese.
Harvey & Ed’s also offers a variety of classic sweets: chocolate babka ($7), apple tarts ($6) and cheesecake with cherry sauce ($8).
