The CA Girls swim team had two more quick meets this week, racing the Delaware Hayes Pacers on Friday, December 7, and competing in  the annual Ned Reeb Invitational on Saturday, December 8.

Friday’s meet was disappointing. Even with excellent swims from senior Sarah Cabre, junior Taylor Warren and freshman Mary Kate Prall, Academy ended up falling to Delaware Hayes, 77-93.

The Saturday meet included 38 schools all across Ohio sending their best of the best, so it was bound to be a tough meet for the AquaVikes. Seniors Sammie Kass and Sarah Cabre both placed well in the 100 free, with Sarah getting 10th overall and Sammie just behind at 11th. Freshman Lauren Klinefelter placed 7th in the 100 fly. Academy ended up in 9th place.

Academy has no meets this coming week.
