Our 4th ranked girls soccer team rolled through its first two postseason games with a pair of decisive victories.

Facing off against Tree of Life on Tuesday, October 16, in the first round of the sectional tournament, the Vikes claimed a decisive 5-1 win. Goals by freshman Evelyn Gee, two from sophomore Katie Schiano, freshman Sophie Spolter, and sophomore Maggie Walther propelled the girls to victory, while freshman Kennedy Jackson was a force in goal.

Looking to advance to the district semi-finals, our girls took on Johnston Monroe on Thursday, October 18. Having beaten them 3-1 in the regular season, the Vikings went into the matchup confident, and our girls showed that their confidence was warranted. Goals by sophomore Olivia Archibald, junior Sarah Neltner and Schiano, along with a pair of saves by Jackson, propelled them to another 3-1 victory.

The CA Vikes will go up against top-seeded Grandview Heights on Wednesday, October 24, competing for a spot in the district finals.
