Academy’s girls soccer crew started its season with a bang, shutting out rival Central Crossing on Tuesday, August 21, with a score of 1-0. Central Crossing was one of only three teams that defeated our girls last regular season. Continuing their hot streak, The Vikings claimed a decisive victory over Fairbanks on Saturday, August 25, with a score of 4-0.

Unfortunately, the Vikings could not keep their streak alive as they fell to Bishop Rosecrans on Wednesday, August 29. Peppered with rain delays on an unfamiliar turf, the girls played a hard-fought game as junior Annalise Grammel had two goals, making the score 3-2.

The Vikes look to get their season back on track as they face Worthington Christian on Wednesday, September 5, at home, and travel to Whitehall-Yearling on Saturday, September 8.
