The CA boys lacrosse team fell to Delaware Hayes before capping off its regular season by pummeling Bexley.

The Vikings held Senior Night festivities on Tuesday, May 8, ahead of their home contest against Delaware Hayes. The two Academy seniors honored were Mike Boeckman and Josh Pearson, both of whom have provided invaluable leadership for the Vikes this year.

From the opening whistle, the Pacers were in full control. Delaware Hayes built a 4-1 lead by the end of the first period and never looked back, coasting to an 18-7 victory. Sophomores Andrew Swartz and Charlie Yaw each had a hat trick to lead CA, and junior Keenan Bellisari added a goal of his own.

The boys then hit the road to clash with arch-rival Bexley on Friday, May 11. Academy closed its roller-coaster regular season on a high note, topping the Lions, 16-10. Swartz tallied five goals and Bellisari netted five, as the pair delivered monster performances. Junior Gunnar Geiger dominated at the face-off X for the Vikings and notched four goals, while Yaw tacked on a pair of scores.

CA looks to ride the momentum into tournament play, as the #10 seed Vikes travel to Dayton Oakwood on Monday, May 14, for a first-round battle with the #9 seed Lumberjacks.
