On Sunday, February 25, our MOSAIC parent group hosted a successful community event called “Our Hidden Figures Revealed: The Color of STEAM” that culminated Black History Month celebrations at Columbus Academy. 

In addition to COSI President and CEO Dr. Frederic Bertley, as featured speakers, professionals their work in the STEAM fields and engaged students in learning. 

Each of school’s division held assemblies dedicated to sharing the contributions of African Americans to modern society and culture. The most powerful segments from the middle and upper school assemblies were the personal reflections from faculty and students.
