The CA boys swim team continues its tour de force of a season, dominating the pool both Friday, January 19, and Saturday, January 20.

On Friday, the boys swept the pool deck, destroying Bexley, 129-37. Senior captain, Max Dreisbach, placed first in all three of his events: two individuals and one relay. The winning 200 freestyle relay team of Dreisbach and juniors Jacob Eismann, Jack Campbell, and Eric DeVore aimed to break the CA pool record, coming up just 0.13 seconds short, with a time of 1:28.54.

Campbell and Eismann also won both of their individual events, as well as fellow junior Ethan Nankervis, who swam a 55.87 in the 100 free.

The Vikes hosted the Viking Invitational against Bloom Carroll, Chillicothe, Bexley, Grandview Heights, and Worthington Christian on Saturday, January 20.

Triumphant, the boys secured the event with 439 points, which was 227 more than the runner-ups. All three CA relays stole first place, along with many individual wins. Campbell won both the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke with times of 2:10.48 and 1:06.22, respectively. Eismann defeated his opponents in both his freestyle events, with a 1:54.28 in the 200 free and a 49.04 in the 100 Free. Both juniors are having an astonishing season for Academy.

The team has its final regular season meet on its Senior Night: Tuesday, January 23.

The boys will swim in MSLs at home on Saturday, January 27.
