Academy Hosts Taste of Gahanna

On Thursday, October 19, Academy hosted the “Taste of Gahanna” event in our Dining Hall. More than 275 tickets were sold as a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the “Roaring Twenties” theme inspired the evenings’s music, decor, and some outfits. Expressions Floral Design Studio provided the centerpieces, which featured tall glass vases filled with fluffy white feathers and a smaller vase with red roses on Academy’s reserved table.

Tables displayed the 22 vendors’ food offerings, including CA’s own Sage, which served “Penne Allá Academy,” grilled steak and baked apples.

Head of School, Melissa Soderberg, says providing a space for the event is a gesture of good will and hopes to open up Academy to the local community.

The evening’s various offerings looked tasteful and were scrumptious.
