Girls Tennis Senior Night a Success

Looking to add to an impressive 7-game winning streak, the girls tennis team squared off against CSG on Monday, September 25. The Vikes won every court against the Unicorns and extended their sweep streak to 6.

On Wednesday, September 27, Academy faced tougher opponent, Bishop Watterson. Academy battled the Hawks to a tie after 4 courts, and the match rested in the hands of Himaja Reddy, the standout junior, who rose to the occasion, winning 6-0, 6-1.

On their Senior Night on Thursday, September 28, the Vikings hosted New Albany. Seniors Georgia Tuckerman and Lexis Hughes were honored, both having been integral to CA’s success this season.With all eyes on the veterans, both delivered dominant victories, winning 6-0, 6-0, and 6-2, 6-0, respectively. Academy also won on the remaining 3 courts to complete the sweep of the Eagles.

The Vikes have two matches scheduled this week, as they travel to Upper Arlington on Monday, October 2, and host Dublin Jerome on Tuesday, October 3.
