After battling its way to a 1-1 tie versus Worthington Christian, the girls soccer team looked to add two more tallies to the win column.

On Monday, September 11, the Vikes went up against Cristo Rey.

Freshman Kate Schiano kicked off the scoring by sneaking a shot past the goalkeeper. This set the tone for the rest of the game, as two goals were added by senior Tori Abell, followed by one apiece from sophomore Emma Belford and ninth-graders Olivia Archibald and Olivia Pierre-Louis. On the other end, Academy also played lockdown defense, earning a shutout.

With the 6-0 win just days earlier still fresh in their minds, the Vikings rolled into their game on Wednesday, September 13, brimming with confidence. Their momentum only grew, as CA dismantled the Rams in an 8-0 blowout.

The girls will look to continue their win streak at London on Tuesday, September 19.
