Although the Vikes knew that facing Columbus Africentric, the number one tournament seed and the 2016 division III state champion, was going to be a challenge, they gave it their all in the first postseason game on February 21.

Academy put up an impressive 17 points against a team overflowing withcredentials. With a final score of 17-82, the Vikes wrapped up knowing they gave it a maximum effort.

The team bid farewell to seniors, Morgan Hamilton and Kennedy Sulton, as it looks forward to a bright 2017-2018 season with an up and coming  JV team.
