After a break filled with daily practices but no games, the girls were eager to faced London on Tuesday, January 5. But neither the JV (24-69) nor the varsity(12-35) team could secure a win.

The varsity team worked on its offensive tactics like driving the lane and shooting from underneath the basket, maneuvers that earned it its 24 points.

The JV team also ran a strong offense that would have led them to success if it were not for their defensive errors.

Both teams are working on strengthening their defenses in practice in addition to piling on more offensive tactics to their game. When not doing drills, the girls scrimmage each other to apply their techniques in real-time situations.
