Skunkworks Welcomes You!

Want to create something that ideally makes the world a better place that can be technology-related or not? Academy welcomes as many girls to join the current group of boys to engage in this new opportunity.

Take Anders Seline and Austin Zhang’s electric skateboard for that “last mile” of transportation problem for commuters.

David Barren is currently in the process of creating a windmill.  Jack Reifeis who wants to build a water-cooled computer.

Now with Academy’s Skunkworks Program, you can develop a project or topic that interests you with the school’s funding from the school.

First, submit a proposal via email to skunkworks@columbusacademy.org. Projects can be worked on individually or in a group. Once a proposal is approved, CA will provide about $200. of funding per student and will link students with experts, if needed.

This is not for a grade. It is not a completion. Nor is it a graduation requirement. CA Skunkworks provides an opportunity for students to explore their passions with the schools help.
