Our wrestling team had back-to-back meets on December 7 and December 8. On Wednesday, the boys competed against multiple teams at Linden McKinley.  Their home meet on Thursday was against Beechcroft, Centennial, and Columbus East.  The team placed well in both meets and showed real improvement over the last few days.

With the most valuable player, Josh Pearson ‘18, out for both meets, co-captain Jeremiah Mills’17, Angus Soderberg’18, and Bobby Diller’19 stepped up to help bring out the win for Academy. Soderbergh won all four of his matches in the 182 weight class, and both Mills and Diller won three out of their four matches in the 285 and 120 weight classes, respectively.

The boys next meet is on the first day of break, Friday, December 16, giving them a chance to rest and and fuel up for this week’s exams and. The match is at Olentangy Liberty against twenty five teams and starts at 5:30 pm.
