With the return of injured players just in time for the postseason, the girls soccer team went into its match against Wellington with an extra bounce in its step.
With Junior Kyra Zoog back in the net, the Vikings commenced tournament play Wednesday, October 19, with a decisive 3-1 victory.
A diversity of players made key impacts, parading a team effort that prevailed over the Jaguars. Senior Sophie Krings, junior Apsara Som, and freshman Annalise Grammel scored. Zoog saved two goals.
The squad’s closely-knit dynamic and synergy prove that teamwork and perseverance go hand-and-hand.
